My name is Matt Fallon, and today, the 25th of June, 2014, is my first day as an intern at CambridgeEditors.
I recently graduated Newton South High School and will be attending Bard college this coming year. In high school, I played for the golf team and enjoyed my Film and English classes.
Currently, I am reading A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving, which I am enjoying thoroughly. I felt this book would make for an enjoyable hiatus from a much more lengthy novel, Infinite Jest, by David Foster Wallace.
After reading Elements of Style by Strunk and White and spending four years in my Latin teacher’s (she is a veritable advocate of proper grammar) class, I have learned to respect the editing process and the phrase “all good writing is rewriting.”
I am excited to begin my summer here at CambridgeEditors and look forward to meeting everyone else who works here.
